Ogden Nash
Here’s a short poem to brighten your morning by Ogden Nash (August 19, 1902 – May 19, 1971), American poet well known for his light verse, of which he wrote over 500 pieces.
With his unconventional rhyming schemes, he was declared by The New York Times the country's best-known producer of humorous poetry.
A Flea And A Fly In A Flue
A flea and a fly in a flue
Were imprisoned, so what could they do?
Said the fly, "let us flee!"
"Let us fly!" said the flea.
So they flew through a flaw in the flue.
